Introduction | The "Intelligence" Dilemma of Web3 & DeAgentAI's Mission
1.1 The "Intelligence" Dilemma of Web3
Web3 has achieved milestone progress in the realms of digital ownership and decentralized finance. However, its evolution toward a more complex and autonomous next stage is constrained by a fundamental obstacle: the lack of a native, trusted intelligence infrastructure designed for AI Agents. While current blockchain architectures provide unprecedented security for asset transactions, they are often inefficient and cost-prohibitive for the high-frequency, state-intensive computational tasks required by AI Agents. As a result, Web3 applications to this day remain heavily reliant on continuous manual user intervention, unable to achieve true autonomy and thus hindering the emergence of more sophisticated applications. This dilemma is epitomized by three core challenges that all on-chain AI Agents must confront:
Consensus: The output of AI models is inherently probabilistic. In a decentralized network that requires deterministic outcomes, how can a verifiable and authoritative consensus be reached on a specific AI output?
Identity: In a concurrent, distributed environment, how can it be ensured that an AI Agent possesses a unique and immutable identity and state at any given point in time, thereby avoiding contradictory decisions analogous to a "double-spend"?
Continuity: How can an AI Agent be endowed with a reliable and traceable on-chain memory? An agent incapable of recalling its past commitments and decisions is untrustworthy in any governance or economic activity.
The failure to systematically solve these three challenges is the fundamental reason why Web3 is currently unable to deploy trusted AI Agents at scale.
1.2 The Mission of DeAgentAI
To solve this challenge, we introduce DeAgentAI—a leading decentralized AI Agent infrastructure.
The mission of DeAgentAI is to construct a trusted and autonomous on-chain intelligence network, the Autonomous Execution Network, providing a secure and composable architecture for the next generation of Web3 AI collaborative systems.
By systematically solving the core problems of Identity, Continuity, and Consensus, our core technical framework enables AI Agents, for the first time, to operate reliably and persistently on-chain as individuals with sovereign identities.
We believe that by providing this missing critical layer for Web3, DeAgentAI will unlock a new paradigm of application possibilities for the ecosystem—from fully autonomous DeFi strategies and dynamically evolving on-chain games to more efficient and complex AI-assisted decentralized governance. Our goal is to accelerate the advent of a new Web3 paradigm that is truly intelligence-driven, permissionless, and open.
